Creating better educational opportunities together
Students should be able to succeed in their education regardless of their financial background.
With this mission in mind, we launched our student financing over 15 years ago based on the principle of a reverse intergenerational contract.
We offer a solution for German students for whom Bafög is not sufficient or whose studies are particularly cost-intensive: in addition to state funding and as an alternative to loans. Since then, we have enabled more than 5,000 students to pursue their desired degree.
What makes ourstudent financing unique
- Flexible financing for all costs related to studies
- Repayment is based on an income share agreement
- Repayments allow us to finance a new generation of students
- No guarantors or collateral necessary
- Not dependent on personal savings or parents‘ income
- Can be used to finance studies in Germany, semesters abroad or study abroad
- Our student financing includes access to Deutsche Bildung Academy which offers workshops, coaching sessions and networking opportunities
- Repayment is waived in the event of permanent unemployment or occupational disability
- We offer personal support for each student
- Multiple top ratings from the Center for higher education
Our next online event for student advisors
With the reverse intergenerational contract, students – after completing their studies and successfully entering professional life – pay 8.5% of their income back to our study fund. This allows future generations to benefit from our student financing and study regardless of their parents‘ economic background.
